Community Organisers wanted!

A chance to break new ground tackling isolation in Coventry with innovative charity Grapevine.

£25, 951-£27,668

We are looking to recruit 3 exceptional people for a number of new roles in Community Organising. Community organising is the work of building relationships and networks in communities to activate people and create social and political change through collective action.

We’ve always thought that the thing people need in life when they’ve got problems isn’t so much services – what they really need most is good people around them. Sometimes the best answer to our problems is each other.

Reducing isolation is about what ordinary people can do for each other. That’s why we want to help spark and sustain a movement against it in our city. You will be a self starter, out and about finding and helping lots of ordinary people start up campaigns or initiatives that combat the problem.

Keen to join us in action against loneliness and isolation? Please complete an application form, tell us about your previous experience and where you have used your skills to shine.

Applications from OR from the CharityJobs and WMjobs sites.
