Wats it all about?

WATS! stands for ‘We’re all the same!’ It’s for young people with and without learning disabilities.

Young people get together and have a good time each week.  They are also  mythbusting -  because WATS! wants to show that young people enjoy the same things. We want YOU to help change people’s ideas about what makes us different and what makes us the same.

You can email WATS! on w.a.t.s@hotmail.co.uk.

You can also see more on www.myspace.com/watsame

With funding from the Camelot Foundation Grapevine is bringing young people together on equal terms to examine and tackle myths and prejudices:

  • mythbusting training
  • shared experiences that challenge prejudices and enable two-way relationships to develop

We will also award up to £500 to those ‘graduates’ from this experience who come up with the best ideas of their own to tackle negative attitudes.

National partners, the Foundation for People with Learning Disabilities, will help with evaluation of our impact on young people’s attitudes and share learning across the country.

If you want to find out more contact us on 024 7663 4114.
