The Connecting for Good Cov team, sparking community action and working for system change to combat isolation in Coventry, issued its latest newsletter this week.

The bumper issue arrives just over three weeks ahead of Connecting for Good Cov’s city centre gathering to celebrate its achievements in the first three years of the National Lottery Community Fund project.

Here are a couple of snippets from November’s edition of the newsletter – if you like what you read, please sign up to receive ALL of their community news delivered straight to your inbox!

With so many different ways to get involved in action against loneliness and isolation, this really is the perfect time to find out more about this growing movement for change in Coventry.

Winter Wanderland and Connecting for Good

We had a great time this month delivering a learning session for volunteer Window Wanderland organisers across Coventry and Warwickshire in Community Organising on behalf of Coventry UK City of Culture 2021.

The volunteers were full of ideas and energy and we are really looking forward to seeing them for our follow up session. Check out Window Wanderland here.

Testing out our ideas = learning from each other

The Connecting for Good team met with some of our changemakers to test out ideas for an upcoming event we are running. They helped the team to understand their personal journey within the movement and we can’t wait to bring their ideas to life!

We really enjoy working in this way – if you would like to join us in future testing sessions, drop us an email by clicking here.
