Rugby Speaking Up Group – Accessibility Review

The Rugby Speaking Up Group are passionate about making sure places are accessible for everyone

On Monday they met with the manager of Rugby library, Ann Brine and the library’s engagement officer, Deborah Hateley to plan the review. They worked together to design a form and rating system to record their feedback. They then carried out the review and met up with Deborah afterwards to share their findings.

One improvement they suggested was to make the touch screen check out more accessible by having a clearer background. The group plans to make contact with more local services next year and offer their expertise on accessibility.
