Got your tickets to join CommUNITY this Saturday?

We need YOU!

Do you volunteer, help out, care about your neighbours (and neighbourhood!), want the best for your community, support a local group, library or school? Perhaps you know how it feels to be isolated?

Good people from all walks of life are needed for an hour and a half this Saturday (4 July from 2-3.30pm) to explore post-pandemic life in Coventry and how we build a future where the community goodness we’ve experienced over the last three months keeps happening – and growing – beyond this crisis.

Why should you come?

Many of us have been thinking about what kind of human being we are going to be after COVID-19.

Often we have a good idea what kind, but we also often don’t know how to get there. This is an opportunity to get there together.

Every connection, every kindness, every strength matters.

“Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one. You need one because you are human.” (Jane Howard, Families)

Why now?

Let us ask you this – if not now, when? If not us, who?

This is our chance to make things better and more equal going forward. All of our different voices and perspectives count towards creating the shared future we all want.

Why is this different?

Quite simply because we’ve never been through anything like this in living memory.

Once this is all over, we can’t forget that strength we’ve created. We have to remember going above and beyond and make sure that’s just the new normal.

What comes next could be the biggest story we ever write. So let’s connect, rebuild and move forward together.

Saturday 4 July, 2-3.30pm. Register free on Eventbrite here.
