Last Friday we welcomed Baroness Barran, Minister for Civil Society, to Coventry to meet the team at Grapevine and a few of our local movement makers.
The Minister’s portfolio includes charities, loneliness and youth social action. Her visit coincided with preparations for Blue Monday on 20 January and a general raising of awareness around loneliness and social isolation experienced within communities across the country.
Here is a quick video by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) and a few photographs taken on the day. We were joined by The National Lottery Community Fund who, along side the DCMS, fund our work sparking conversations and social action against isolation in Coventry.
